  3. ‚Ä¢ Problem:   It doesn't seem to work!
  4. ‚Ä¢ Solution:    Perhaps EZCalendar has been turned
  5.                      off.  Make sure the switch in the lower
  6.                      left of the Control Panel window is in 
  7.                      the on position.

  9. ‚Ä¢ Problem:   It causes problems with a certain
  10.                      application.
  11. ‚Ä¢ Solution:    From the preferences dialog you can
  12.                      create a list of applications that cause
  13.                      problems while using EZCalendar.  You
  14.                      can add the application to a list of
  15.                      special applications (see Customizing 
  16.                      EZCalendar above).

  18. ‚Ä¢ Problem:   Some command keys no longer work
  19.                     with a certain application.
  20. ‚Ä¢ Solution:    Make sure you have not set up
  21.                     any "Hotkeys" using the same key(s)
  22.                     used by an application.

  24. ‚Ä¢ Problem:   When I move or resize the window,
  25.                      the application it was started from
  26.                      does not update it‚Äôs windows!
  27. ‚Ä¢ Solution:    Since EZCalendar is not really an application,
  28.                      but is code that loads at startup (as an
  29.                      extension), it cannot act entirely like
  30.                      an application (though it certainly
  31.                      tries! :-).  When you type a hotkey to
  32.                      access EZCalendar, it temporarily takes over
  33.                      the space the application resides in.  It
  34.                      won‚Äôt allow you to access the menus of
  35.                      the application, but you can get to any
  36.                      background applications by clicking on
  37.                      their windows as you normally would.
  38.                      As soon as you close the EZCalendar window,
  39.                      you‚Äôll gain full access to the application
  40.                      once again.

  42. ‚Ä¢ Problem:   Conflict Catcher‚Ñ¢ says something like
  43.                      ‚ÄúWarning! This file is using more memory
  44.                      in the System heap at Startup than it is
  45.                      requesting. You may want to try disabling
  46.                      this file if you are experiencing problems
  47.                      with your system.‚Äù
  48. ‚Ä¢ Solution:    This is not a problem and the warning can
  49.                      be ignored.  When EZCalendar starts during
  50.                      bootup, it does allocate more memory in
  51.                      the system (so all of it‚Äôs code can be loaded
  52.                      into memory only once).  This is why it is
  53.                      available instantly, unlike an application
  54.                      that needs to load every time you launch it.

  56. ‚Ä¢ Problem:   When opening EZCalendar, I can no longer see
  57.                      the EZCalendar window or I cannot see the menus
  58.                      in the EZCalendar window.
  59. ‚Ä¢ Solution:    It‚Äôs possible that the EZCalendar Preferences
  60.                      file has become corrupted.  Just find the
  61.                      file named ‚ÄúEZCalendar Preferences‚Äù in the
  62.                      Preferences Folder (in the System Folder)
  63.                      and drop it in the trash.  Now restart, and
  64.                      that should fix the problem!
